The video I made its mostly pictures but its about what I do when I hang out with my friends. It is about trips to the movies,San Jose,San Francisco and what we do everyday living in the dorms. We get bored so we come up with things to do even if its just going to dinner and making it the best of it. The people that come out in the video are awsome there names are Tamara,Alyssa,Abby,Hugo,Sarah,Ariana and Me. Our trips are never planned they are random and we have the time of our life. At first I didnt know what to do my video on but then I started looking at my pictures and they were all about the goodtimes we have had so I decided to do the video on us and our goodtimes. The music I used was the ones they LOVE to listen to there Favorite goodtime song is ” I got a feeling” By Black Eye Peas, I also used a video when we were coming back that we started singing,it was ” You Belong with me” By Taylor Swift.

Addiction
There are many websites on the internet that can be attractive to young teen. On the web there are many popular social networks of these MySpace is one of them. MySpace is a very addicting site because it makes people want to get on every time they are on the internet. In my experience MySpace has been addicting because when I get on the computer to do my homework it’s the first website I want to get in too. Having a MySpace, one must be careful about what information to put out there on the web.
When I was a naïve 15 years old I got introduced into MySpace. My friend would tell me, “You should get a MySpace the new hottest chatting website.” As I got introduced I would log in into MySpace everyday and I would be there for hours. I would forget about my homework, my chores and everything else. For a while there I was getting to be anti-social and was not getting out enough. Know MySpace is a time killer, I log in when I have free time but other than that I don’t consider it a good thing.
The website maybe considered bad to have but some students think that it can be a good communication source. It only helps students communicate with friends and to keep in touch. If students have a MySpace and haven’t seen their friends they go online and might actually find them because of the millions of people who have a MySpace. The website provides many communicating features such as E-mail, instant messaging, and they are able to post message. When students use the E-mail they leave a message to friends who are not online. Instant messaging on MySpace is very easy, see who is online and just write them a message. It is a typical website that has all the features that people use to communicate with people around the world. But other than that it cannot really help because they don’t meet the people in person and won’t know if they are the person they say they are.
Some teens are always on MySpace and expose almost all there life on the internet. Young teens put information that can lead into trouble. They are being exposed to many dangers. There are people out there creating fake profiles and seducing young tend. Sexual predators pretend that they are teens. They make you believe that they are a young boy who likes you but in reality it is be an older man. When you decide to meet them in person you find yourself in a bad situation. Teens on MySpace often want to meet the person they are talking to in real life not realizing that there are many possibilities that the person they are talking to could have created a fake MySpace account, and when they look for that person they don’t find them but the other person might have a picture of you. That is what leads you into rape or even kidnapping.
In an article written by George Lewis of the Associative Press wrote about a girl named Megan Meier who thought that she had just added a new friend on MySpace. Little did she know about the consequences of her new friend would bring her. She started to message her new friend on MySpace the mom stated, “They would get along very well.” Her new cyber friend had told her that he was new in town and that he didn’t have telephone to call her. They started exchanging messages and becoming friendlier. A little after a month he stopped talking to her. The reporter George Lewis said, “She received a message from her cyber friend on October 15 of last year, essentially saying he didn’t want to be her friend anymore, that he had heard she wasn’t nice to her friends and that she was cruel.” On October 16, 2006 the mom of Megan Meier found her hanging in her bedroom. Her father said “I found a message the next day from Josh; it told the girl she was a bad person and the world would be better without her.” The reporter said that six weeks after her death they found it was just a fake profile. The police soon learned that it was the mother of one of Megan’s friend that lived in the neighborhood. According to the article it said, “She created Josh’s profile because she wanted to gain Megan’s confidence to know what Megan was saying about her own child online.” The neighbor was never charged because there was no law stating that she could not create a “fake profile.” When that happens I can see both sides the good and the bad.

Surfing the internet for social networking can have its good and bad effects. MySpace is used for communicating with people you have not seen in a long time. I think that it cannot be some sort of dating source because there are some serious consequences. People meet the person they saw online and most likely it was not what they had imagined or expected. People on MySpace decided who their friends are, some have about 500 friends but they don’t usually talk to all of them. Some are just added because they want to have more and more friends. In my MySpace I only have friends, but even then I don’t really know if that is the person I really am writing to because they can create fake profiles. Many can get the information of another profile and you can even copy the pictures so they can think it’s that person. Some things on the web are not always safe for you.

The interesting part I liked was when he used code names,that is what catches my attention. Also how Marcus had to use different code names to get around town. It was interesting how he had to use code names not to get caught, I like how he didnt give up on what he believed was right. He had to use technology to help his city. After the terrorist attack he went underground to help his city and try to get rid of the police in which were the bad guy.
